Winter Carnival

Moving slow just call me slow Mo blogger. My plan is to take pictures over the weekend there is a Winter Carnival. Ive never been to this one so I’m looking forward to going. I want to check out the fiddlers a wide variety of ages should be cool. I entered a dutch oven contest. I usually don’t enter cooking contests, but I thought it would be fun. Maybe I can learn something about cooking on an open fire isn’t that what you do when you live on the range in Montana? There’s also a stock dog trail I think its dogs rounding up cattle, I’d like to see that .Also a stick horse race they said they had a heard of 13 stick horses. I think I know what a stick horse is not sure. If you didn’t see my appology please scroll down to the post below this one. I’m planning to post pictures of the fair on Tuesday or Wednesday that gives me a couple of days to figure out how to post pictures again. Also Navar is entering a photo in the photo contest. I hope the weather is warm yesterday we had winds up to 80 miles an hour and the other day the temp was -20 seems bold to me to have a big event in the Winter but I guess they know what they are doing.

I apologise for saying I was taking a short break and disappearing off the face of the earth. Floating in space can be very tiring. I honestly thought all I needed was a short break. I did go to physical therapy for my neck and shoulder, that was very helpful. Life for us has been a bit of a roller coaster ride whipping us around. Traveling last Winter to find a teaching Job for Navar we went to Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. Driving the winter roads that was nuts. Funny as life is we ended up finding a job back home in Montana, but had to move several hours away. I loved where we use to live so its been a bit of a shock. We are now living in a one bar two church town out in the middle of I don’t really know where. Turning on my computer I was grateful for your comments. Trying to remember how to post very strange. Trying to remember my password that took awhile. As you can see I’m a bit disjointed. I am not able to blog like I use to because of lower back issues but maybe I can post now and then and I can stop by and see what you’ve been up to. I was surprised at how many of my favorite bloggers are still pounding out posts truly amazing hats off to you for that. Not sure when I will get it together to post again or when I will pop in to your blog, until then may your world be well.

I’d like to take a short blogging break maybe a week or maybe two. I’d like to rest my back and shoulder to see if maybe the pain will go away. Redo my computer desk. It’s difficult because I don’t want to miss anything, but a little rest may be cheaper than physical therapy. In fact I know it would be cheaper. I will stop by your blog in a couple of weeks to let you know I’m back, and up and running.

It’s been raining here for days. This morning I could hear the familiar ping on the roof snow or hail? Opening the door I looked out hail large white chunks. My thoughts were oh no what a mess like a kitchen spill that needed to be moped up. I closed the door knowing that Spring and Fall are now in the rear view mirror. My feelings of Winters arrival are far from the giddy anticipation of Spring and Summer. The perfect temperature on the first few days of Spring were intoxicating. That feeling of all is right with my world even if the ends are frayed and the colors don’t match it’s life as art. Settling in a comfortable chair looking out the window the gray sky the white patches on the green lawn, slowly drinking my hot coffee easing into thoughts of Winter. What’s the weather like where you’re at? I use to love Winter I think the idea of driving on snowy and icy roads can be pretty stressful.

Fruit Cake or pecan log?

When was the last time you had fruit cake? Do you like fruit cake? I saw this sign last week in front of a Bakery. I also noticed a center display at the grocery store with fruit cake ingredients. Jokes or no jokes people are still making fruit cake.
