Finger Painting, Music and My TODO list.

Looking for something fun to do this week-end? How about finger painting? I found this link the other day and I thought that she did a nice job with it, putting together information and inspiring a person to dip in or delve into Art. Actually it’s been awhile since I’ve done any panting. I think my main creative focus has been taking pictures and blogging. I haven’t finger painted since, well probably since I was 5 or 6. I’m probably over due, could be a fun out-door project. I like to paint with music on, Navar likes to paint as well maybe I can get him to join me in some painting fun. I know we will probably go to the Cherry Blossom Festival, eat pie and listen to outdoor music, I’m looking forward to that. I have a huge TO DO list Mow the lawn, first time this year, fill the hummingbird feeder,weed the small garden,pick up poop, just seeing if your still reading. Hopefully I can fit all this in this into the week-end. Do you have a huge TO DO list for Spring cleanup? Well, I’ll see you back here Monday, same Bat channel same Bat time. Today on The Today Show with Kathy Lee and Hoda, they are spending the whole hour with no make up! Ann Curry, Meredith Vieira, and Natalie Morales also took the challenge. Some of the quests were also asked to come and do their segment without makeup. Kathy Lee looks a lot different, but once you get used to it she does look natural. I’m so use to seeing Kathy Lee with Makeup. I actually think it’s a good idea to see some of the people in the entertainment business without makeup. Hoda looks about the same. Are you a make up person or a no make up person? Would you leave the house without makeup, if you usually wear makeup? Guys only answer if, well you know who you are, if you like to get dolled up from time to time. It must be Thursday I’m ready for the week-end my humor is in full flare.

Check out this cute video “Breakfast at Ginger’s” at their blog. Another little hop if you’re in the mood is to S.L.e’s blog her blog very creative and unusual. Once you’ve arrived, scroll down a little bit and move your mouse over the mail slot, once probably won’t be enough. You can also catch a little Monte Python as well. She is on vacation with her husband celebrating their anniversary so maybe let her know you stopped by, leave a little note on your way out. So when she comes home she will have some extra sweet faces staring back at her. It’s a small silly surprise but isn’t that what we are looking for small silly surprises. Sick Dog

Good Morning! Coffee hasn’t kicked in yet. I slept in this am,  my dog was sick last night I was up off and all night as was she. She has Addison’s disease, she was diagnosed a couple of years ago. It’s something that with a fair amount of medication is pretty treatable. She does pretty well most of the time except for every once in a while she gets sick for a few days to a week.Poor kid. Of course she is super smart and super cute, did I mention how smart she is? If you have a pet or have had a pet than you know how dear they can be to our lives. Let see tomorrows  Saturday, so if your working today have a wonderful weekend and I’ll hopefully see you on Monday . I wish we could have a real WordPress party, wouldn’t that be fun like a convention center party  or something where people came from all over the word and you could wear a little blogger badge. Like mine would be name is Starlachat. Anyway I’ll do my best with what is ,which is, I’m in Montana, Winters winding down, I’ll probably do a little cross country skiing today the sun’s out. When the suns out it’s always a Celebration as there are a fair amount of gray days. I think Monday I will post a crab cake recipe that I saw Paula D and Al Rouker make on the Today show. Boy they sure had a case of the giggles while they were cooking. I might look for some music to post on Monday as well just cause. If I can figure out how to do that. Any way Have a Great Day. Making peace with past hurts.

Yesterday I felt like taking my toys and going home. Bloggers tantrum.Nobody like me. OK I have one friend actually two Doraz and Gary thank you both for that I sure appreciate that. As a kid I use to move from school to school never really time to fit in, I was on to the next school. Funny I have another blog and had 54 views huh blogging is funny once you think you have the stats figured out it changes. As I get older the thought of why, why carry around emotional baggage that’s so old, so hurtful and really has no function. A few old family baggage hurts.Why? Habit? Do some pains become a part of my persona? How sad. As I get older the desire to make peace with it all even the parts that hurt the worst. I realize what I make peace with becomes freedom. I feel. Less encumbered and as I get older the desire for freedom, joy, peace are strong. I think maybe it’s like going to the dentist, I was terrified of going to the dentist but recently going and having  some much needed  dental work was extremely difficult but in the end healthy, freeing and exhilarating. I thinking being willing to let go of past hurts and things that knot up the stomach, in the long run can be freeing and who knows maybe like the dentist exhilarating in the long run. Like Rocky running up the steps. I will ponder this thought.

MORE News Room Romance

Running errand’s in town , I found myself watching the clock hopeing we would get home in time to catch the local 6’o’clock news. Will she or won’t she, waiting to see where these two love birds stand. I was so sad to see her so heartbroken watching yesterdays news.  My husband must be drawn into the  on going saga as well , I was loading the dishwasher, he says” hurry, hurry the news is back on.” Sitting down in the recliner just in time to relax and observe, Is she heartbroken or Is it as if Yesterday was all a bad dream. The weatherman winds up his report 6 inches of new snow. And than finally at last the end of the news , moving into the finial chit chat our sweet news gal sitting with hands politely folded as she blinks her eyes and cocks her head looking adoringly at the young dark headed sports caster. His face bright and cheerful Ive never seen his eyes sparkle before and dimples, as he winds up his sports report. Sparks are flitting back and forth between the two. He ends the last part of the banter back and forth as they sign off for the evening. Showing off for her, he  tosses  his pencil into the air catching it proudly with a big smile. She smiles approvingly. The Romance between the cute brunette news girl and the newly awakened to  love sports caster. Will they , or won’t they wear red  Friday? Announcing to each other truly the willingness to take their love to a new level . Perhaps a red tie is in order, and for her a lacy red shirt with ruffles .

Taking a brake from pain and worry.

Finding hope in a fortune cookie. Sinus pain, still chronic, painful, going on almost 1 year. Ive had 2 doctors resign  in that time or go out of business . Sinus doctor gone, and the small doctors office lady doctor gone,  strange, the 2 herbalist left.sigh.My fortune cookie the other day said “Time heals all wounds.Keep your chin up.” I’ll take it ,Hope from  a fortune cookie. Ive learned that with a chronic  pain problem the big thing that you do have  is Hope. No matter what, there’s Hope.  Doctors can give up on you, or go out of business, but you have to keep going, keep trying to figure “It” out. Or wait it out  I guess. I’m not very  good at ,hurry up and wait. I’m ready for the pain to be completely gone to have it be no longer an issue. OK, sorry to go on and on about that. Oh yeah, the title to my post taking a brake from pain and worry.  Yesterday was inspired by , the 3 day conversation about Fun .I realized fun can be sandwiched in, pain ,worry, job hunting ,economic worry, the list is long. How nice  fun can be squeezed in, I can be concerned about all of that, but that I can actually sandwich in some really fun stuff. We, my husband and I took a ride around the lake. I had a bad case of cabin fever. The temperature outside was 44′ for the first time this year it felt like a hint of Spring in the air it was so exciting. In my analysis of the word fun,  A day taking pictures or being creative and skiing may end up with the thought  “That was so much Fun!”  So in honor of this we drove around the lake ,on the way to do a little grocery shopping. Sandwiching in the not so fun tasks, with the super fun. Taking pictures all the way. Both of us with cameras, so much fun! And when we got home put the grocery’s away. grabbed our cross country skis and went out to the large field by our house and went skiing in the almost full moon light. Again super fun. the snow was a little crunchy and a little bit icy but still super fun. So I think it was helpful to realize fun can be sandwiched in, it’s been doctors, dentist, job service, job testing , and mammogram which I picked up a letter at the mail box yesterday , on the way home with a normal,  result ,very good news on that! So nice to have a little brake of fun in the midst of pain and worry. Here’s a couple of pictures of our trip nice sunset on the way home. Nice to share my fun day with you. By the   way at the end of the day my husband said to me “Today was so much fun Thanks. “Turns out my fun  day was fun for him too.

Surprise Art

When we pulled over to watch the sunset I found this as is ,laying on a rock next to a small ceramic praying hands. What a surprise, I have no idea who put this there or why. But I appreciated the discovery, I did not touch it ,and took the picture and left it of course as is.
